Setting of The Giver

The Giver is set in a utopian society in the future, I think...

Point of View of The Giver

Okay, so I'm not exactly sure what the point of view in The Giver is. The book refers to Jonas as Jonas, but is from his perspective. Here, I'll show you...

This Week in Health

This week in Health, we picked 10 healthy recipes to make in Health class. Some of my favorites were:
  • 3-Bean Turkey Chili
  • Chocolate Strawberries
  • Hummus
  • Salsa
  • Spinach Artichoke Dip
Also, we filled out a calendar for February (heart health month) with a different goal every day.
And we learned about setting long-term (take a long time to acheive) and short-term (acheived quickly) goals.
Six Suggestions for Setting Goals:
Make sure your goal is...
  1. Safe
  2. Satisfying
  3. Sensible
  4. Similar
  5. Specific
  6. Supported
